Hello Everyone. My name is Akiko Masuda. Please call me Akko. I participate in the daily lesson as a assistant teacher with foreign teachers who lead the lesson. Since I acquired J-SHINE license in 2007, I have been engaged in teaching English from the youngest babies to high school students. In the class I usually do not translate all the words that foreign teachers say to students, as I want the students to obtain the ability to listen English the way it is and develop natural strength to think in English. I strongly believe in the fact that children have unlimited ability to learn and that they can absorb any language they listen in natural way without any preconception. In Apple Tree Kids Garden, we provide children with how to express themselves in useful English with exact pronunciation.I would like to say that we are having a wonderful time at Apple Tree Kids Garden with many brilliant students. みなさま こんにちは 私は増田明子と申します。アッコと呼んで下さい。教室では外国人の先生のサポート役として普段からレッスンに参加しています。私は2007年にＪ－ＳＨＩＮＥ小学校英語指導者資格を取得し、以来赤ちゃんから高校生までの子ども達に英語を教える仕事に携わってきました。なぜなら生徒の英語耳、英語脳を育てるべく、日頃のレッスンから外国人の先生の話す言葉の全てを日本語に訳すことはしません。私は子どもたちには先入観なしでいくつもの言語を自然に吸収できる無限の能力があると信じています。Apple Tree Kids Gardenでは子ども達に楽しいアクティビティを提供しながら正確な発音で外国人にも通用する英語で自分を表現できるように細やかなアドバイスをしています。みなさんも是非遊びに来てください！！

Hello! I was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania (where the famous Hershey’s chocolates are made), and grew up in the State of Missouri. I am a native English speaker, and fluent in Japanese. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, studying painting and art history.After moving to Japan, I taught roughly 3 years at a children’s English international school. Over the course of those years, I met many terrific students and teachers, and I have been very fortunate to meet many more wonderful people at Apple Tree Kids Garden. Let’s learn English together!
こんにちは！私はペンシルベニア州のハーシーで生まれ（有名なハーシーズチョコレートが作られているところです）、ミズーリ州で育ちました。私はネイティブイングリッシュスピーカーで日本語も話せます。私はカンザスシティ美術大学で絵と美術史を学んで学士（美術）を取りました。日本に引っ越してから約３年インターナショナルスクールで子供に英語を教えていました。その間にたくさんの素晴らしい生徒と先生達に出会い、また幸運にもアップルツリーキッズガーデンのみなさんとも出会えました。一緒に英語を学びましょう！

My name is Karen Carmeli. I’m from Tel Aviv, Israel. Living in Tokyo Over a decade, married to a Japanese/French man and we have a boy who is six years old. I’m an Holistic therapist and Drama teacher, graduated at “Kibbutzim College of Eduation, Technology and the Arts” in Tel Aviv. I have a lot of experience as a teacher, story teller, actress and therapist in Israel, Japan and Europe. I’m fascinated by Japanese culture. I love Japanese Mukashi Banashi, art, music, dancing, traveling, swimming, Japanese food and Maccha ice cream :)) I love meeting people and teaching kids and I never forget we were all kids once, not so long time ago as the great German Erich Kaszetner reminds us in his books. Childhood is not only joy and laughter. Children may have difficulties and encounter troubles in their young life. We all need each other and are blessed with the ability to learn with curiousity and pleasure. Let’s learn English together!
私の名前はカレンカルメリです。 イスラエルのテルアビブ出身です。 東京に10年以上住んでいて、日本とフランスのハーフの男性と結婚し、私たちには6歳の男の子がいます。 私はホリスティックセラピストと演劇の先生で、テルアビブの「キブツィムカレッジオブテクノロジー」を卒業しました。 私はイスラエル、日本そしてヨーロッパで、教師、ストーリーテラー、女優そしてセラピストとして多くの経験を持っています。 私は日本の文化に魅了されていて、日本の昔話、芸術、音楽、ダンス、旅行、水泳、日本食と抹茶アイスクリームが大好きです:)）人々との出会いや子供たちへ教える事が大好きで、ドイツの偉大なエーリッヒ・ケストナーの本で思い出させてくれるように、私たち全員が一度子供だったことを決して忘れません。 子供時代は喜びと笑いだけではありません。 子供たちは若い人生の中で困難を抱えトラブルに遭遇するかもしれません。私たちは皆お互いを必要としており、好奇心と喜びで学ぶ能力に恵まれています。一緒に英語を学びましょう！

Hello everyone! I’m a daughter of Akko sensei. Before Miyu(my daughter) was born I was teaching in class room as a Japanese teacher, but now I come on weekdays for helping school. Please feel free to ask me anything! I tell you just little introduction about myself. I grew up in Ota-ku and I graduated International Communication department at Kanda University of International School. When I was Junior I went to the United States as an exchange student. I stayed almost for a year with my host family and friends from all over the world. In that experience, I realized learning English is not only studying a school subject, it’s very important skill for communication! While I was in University I took J-SHINE license which you can teach English to kids. Hope I can help you!
みなさんこんにちは！私はあっこ先生の末娘です。娘が生まれる前はこちらで日本人の先生として働いていましたが、現在は平日にお手伝いをしに来ています。気軽にお声掛けください！私自身の紹介を少しだけさせて頂きますね、私は大田区に生まれ育って神田外語大学国際コミュニケーション学科を卒業しました。高校2年生からアメリカに交換留学生として行きました。約1年間現地のホストファミリーと世界各国から来た友達たちと暮らしました。その経験を通して英語とは勉強ではなく世界の人たちとコミュニケーションをするのに大事なスキルだと気づかされました。その後、大学在学中にはＪ－ＳＨＩＮＥ小学校英語講師資格を取得しました。少しでも皆様のお役にたてれば光栄です！
